Infrared Sauna
Our Clearlight infrared sauna uses low-EMF carbon/ceramic heaters that produce a combination of near, mid and mainly far-infrared heat. This is the same type of heat as produced by the sun and our bodies. In an infrared sauna, only 20 percent of the energy is used to heat the air, leaving the rest of the energy to heat the body. The radiant heat can penetrate deep below the skin producing a gentle warming inside the body. You will warm up with the sauna. As your body absorbs the infrared heat, this will increase thermal energy inducing a deep and relaxing sweat.
Infrared FAQs
-
Infrared heat is thermal light energy emitted between 700 nm – 1 mm wave lengths, and is often invisible to the human eye. Infrared heat is emitted or absorbed by molecules when they change their vibrational movements. IR heat is radiant energy that increases the vibrational tone of your body’s cells. You can think of infrared wavelengths as the warmth you feel from the sun, however the IR heat in the sauna does not emit the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays like the sun.
-
Infrared heaters warm the body in the same manner as natural sunlight. It uses the wavelength of the visible & non-visible light spectrum of sunlight that heats the body normally. Instead of heating the air within the enclosure, infrared saunas heat the body directly. The result is deeper tissue penetration. In a infrared sauna, the body perspires and receives all of the healthy benefits but avoids the harmful and extremely hot air of a traditional steam sauna. All of the heaters used in the sauna are tested to ensure safe levels of EMF. When EMF levels are tested within the sauna around the seated position, they are virtually undetectable (<3 mG). Typical heaters emit levels between 20-100 mG.
-
A traditional wet sauna, like one you may have at your gym or luxury spa, is a room heated anywhere from 180-220 degrees. Using water poured over hot stones, the hot air-filled room then heats your body. An infrared (IR) sauna uses light energy to heat your body’s core and only about 20% of the heat goes into the air. Heating your core during a sauna session is important in stimulating your lymphatic system, cardiovascular (heart and vessels), and your immune system. Your body’s natural reaction to infrared heat is to sweat profusely, aiding in the detoxification process. Clearlight IR sauna’s detoxify the body 87% better than traditional wet saunas

When your body warms up, it taps into a variety of natural, beneficial processes that increase metabolism, improve skin, boost mood, eliminate toxins, burn fat, and more. Infrared heat provides all the healthy benefits of natural sunlight without any of the dangerous effects of solar radiation.

Our infrared sauna is equipped with bluetooth speakers for your use. Enjoy your own music or podcast while you sauna.
Medical grade chromotherapy lights are included. During your sauna session, you have the option of choosing 1 of 12 colors or use the “auto” option to rotate between all 12 colors.
-
Color therapy dates back to ancient Mayan Egyptian cultures, and has been utilized in traditional Chinese Medicine. Research studies continue to go on worldwide to back the health and cosmetic benefits of colored light therapy. Color therapy is intense exposure to a specific wavelength of color to achieve healing properties. Please see our chromotherapy light handout in the office to choose which color to use for you session.
-
We offer 30 minutes IR sauna sessions for 1 or 2 people. Your session will always be private unless you decide to book with another guest.
-
We encourage you to wear loose fitting clothing to your session for optimal comfort when getting dressed afterwards. To receive all the benefits of an infrared sauna session, you must have the most amount of infrared light in direct contact with your skin. Infrared wavelengths are obstructed by any material that interferes with the direct contact with the skin, this includes clothing or towels. While in the sauna we suggest you wear as little as possible (swimsuit, underwear, tank top/shorts). There will always be a fresh towel between you and the sauna.
-
A change of clothes, if you desire for after your session. We provide towels & drinking water for during and after your session. You may bring your own water bottle as well.

Red Light Therapy
The Red Light Therapy tower combines powerful red light (650nm) and near infrared (850nm) wavelengths. These low-level wavelengths stimulate our bodies production of ATP (AdenosineTriphosphate) which boosts cellular regeneration. This increased cellular activity greatly enhances cell functioning and health, and promotes numerous healing benefits for the body.

Halotherapy (Salt Therapy)
Halotherapy is also known as Salt Therapy. It mimics the climate of a salt cave, offering the same benefits. Salt solution is vaporized into micro sized particles and dispersed into the air that you breathe in and saturates your skins pores. Breathing in this salty air can help stimulate the respiratory system, reduce inflammation, fight infection, clear blockages and reduce discomfort.

FAQs
-
Breathing in this salty air can help stimulate the respiratory system, reduce inflammation, fight infection, clear blockages and reduce discomfort. Halotherapy is believed to be anitbacterial and anti-inflammatory and can help with excessive mucus, pathogen agents, digestive agents, digestive issues, skin conditions and immune system oversensitivity. With all these benefits, it is easy to see that incorporating salt therapy into your life can help improve overall wellness.
-
3% pharmaceutical grade saline solution (99% pure sodium chloride with no fillers and is processed to remove any impurities) is added to the machine in the sauna. The solution is vaporized and then pushed through vibrating mesh technology to create salt particles between 1-10 microns. This helps the salt to reach more area of your lungs helping you breathe easier.
-
The Halotherapy sessions are done while you are in your 30 minute sauna session. The distribution of salt typically occurs for the first 15-20 minutes of your sauna session. Once the machine finishes dispersing the solution is remains floating in the air for the remainder of your sauna session. We also offer 30 minute halotherapy only sessions for those who cannot use the infrared sauna.
-
You can add halotherapy to your sauna session for $10. For a 30 minute halotherapy only session it is $30.

Light therapy has been tested across hundreds of peer-reviewed clincial trials with positive results. The benefits of Red Light therapy include reduction of chronic and acute pain, boosts collagen & elastin production, tissue regeneration, wound healing, muscle recovery, muscle conditioning, testosterone boost, and reduced inflammation.
-
The Red Light Therapy tower delivers specific wavelengths of light that our body absorbs. These wavelengths stimulate our bodies production of ATP (AdenosineTriphosphate) which boosts cellular regeneration. This increased cellular activity greatly enhances cell functioning and health, promoting numerous healing benefits for the body. Our red light uses variable optics technology which allows the light to travel better into our cells and maximize benefits in every session.
-
Red Light therapy can be seen as nutrition for the body. The body especially needs light at certain wavelengths. Our bodies produce important elements from absorbing specific wavelengths of light. e.g. Vitamin D that our body creates when being in the sun. Red light and near-infrared enhance the production of important elements like Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), which enhances energy in our cells and drives many processes in the body. Through using RLT frequently we are able to artificially energize the cells in our body.
-
Our Red Light therapy tower can be used in conjunction with the infrared sauna, to obtain the benefits of both scientifically backed therapies in one session. When sitting on your sauna bench/lounger at approximately 30-45cm distance from your unit, we recommend a 30 minute session. You can either move the bench closer to the red light or feel free to stand in front of the red light unit.
-
Eye protection is not necessary when using the Red Light Therapy Tower however you may find the intensity of the lights uncomfortable. We have included protective eyewear for your convenience and enhanced comfort. When initially turning on the unit, your eyes will need to adjust to the strong light output. We recommend you look away or close your eyes and then open them slowly so your eyes can adjust. It is not recommended to look directly into the LED’s.
